... and its advantages.

The gigantic peninsula of Makedonia comprehends a 522 km long coast and possesses the most blue flaggs of Greece - the sign for a clean sea and clean beaches. It extends from the gulf of Thermaikos and Strymonikos and ended up in three little peninsulas (Kassandra, Sithonia, Athos).

From Thessaloniki (airport) leads a beautiful street surrounded by olive-trees and lornes to Nea Potidea, the "door" to the first finger of Chalkidiki.

Chalkidiki offers an excellent starting-point. By the way, Chalkidiki and Potidea were already settled in the 8th century BC. Both played an important role during the Peleponesia War from 431-404 BC. Beginning in Nea Potidea down into the South, you can find one fishing village after the other. You could make a sight-seeing-tour to the rudiments of the temple complex in Kallithea. Kriopigi, Polichrono and Pefkohori are situated in lush vegetation at wonderful long beaches. The east-coast of the Kassandra-finger is grown with pine-woods. Here, you can still find Greece`s famous peaceful, beautiful nature. Along the west-coast Agia Paraskevi, Agios Nikolaos, Nea Skioni and Kalandra are situated. During the antiquity Mende was situated here. The fishing villages Possidi and Siviri seduce with marvellous beaches and tiny little beach-taverns.

The family friendly Apartment-Complex Seaview is situated directly in the picturesque little place Nea Potidea at the sea.
